Company History

Coral Fabrication and Automation is a small family run business consisting of Dale (Director/Fabricator) and Helen (Fabricator/Accounts). Both Dale and Helen are scuba divers in their spare time, which is where the name ‘Coral’ was derived from. 

Dale initially started his Pipefitter/Welder apprenticeship in the UK when he was 16 and by the time he was 18 he was already running large commercial jobs. He has 14 years of experience in the gate building industry, having worked for a large commercial gate company for 10 years when he first arrived in Australia from the UK.

Coral Fabrication and Automation was initially established in 2019 as a side business, until the workload was enough to make the leap into it becoming a full-time business in 2022. Helen joined the company full time in 2023 after being trained in both steel and aluminium welding and gate fabrication by Dale.

All of our gates and products are fabricated by us in our workshop, and are built specifically to suit your needs, so your job is completely tailored to you! We complete the full installation and fit any automation required. 

We do have a few of our own standard designs if you are needing inspiration, however, we also enjoy being able to bring your own designs into reality with Dale offering CAD drafting of your new gate as part of the package.
